CLWA Annual Meeting held on July 20
About 120 members and friends gathered on Saturday, July 20, for the CLWA’s 2024 Annual Members Meeting. This record-breaking crowd heard a presentation by President Sue Brown on current CLWA projects and programs including control of swimmer’s itch and aquatic invasive species. She emphasized CLWA’s efforts to encourage lake-friendly development in the watershed. A video presentation by CLWA Lake Biologist John Ransom described the new database that is making over 5 decades of water quality testing available digitally and assisting study of long-term trends. Treasurer Bruce Gerhart surveyed the organization’s financial situation. Election of officers and board members took place electronically and by mail. READ THE DRAFT MINUTES HERE.
